A young Man by the name of Samuel Hobbins a member of a Civil War reenactment group in Royal Oaks, Michigan in 2012. He was watching four Pvts dig two slip trenches when the next thing he know
there is a sergeant was standing over him telling me to wake-up. That he was not bleeding and he needed to get back into the battle at hand. He was in Virginia in 1862.

The every day details of a company on the move thru the south. The company comes upon a battery set-up on the bank of a bend in the river and some forty to fifty feet above the river. He also
noticed that some partial earthen works had been erected fronting that river. We were at once put into service building it up. A battle with a Union gun boat, and a seven day march brought them to
Richmond. 3 new characters are added String Bean, CD and Cockroach.
