Lay your head on my pillow

Close your eyes and allow your mind to gently blow as a weeping willow

Blanket your thoughts on me

Speak as if I’m your soft open diary

Tell me your hushed secrets, your vivid dreams

The core of your being that propels the flow of your stream

Your aspirations the beautiful ones within reach

The galaxy of your thoughts to worldly teach

The days when you can’t go on

The beating melody of your heart’s song

Your one and only true wish

If you could turn your dreams to rags to riches

Tell me about your inner true self

The gifts of your presence you take from off life’s shelf

The mask shown to the world

Tell me when you hurt, down and out, when your pride unfurls

Is there anything you would never do

Give credence too

Follow through

From your lips to my ears, if you could love forevermore

With your heart, mind, body and soul, who you recall tears for

Show me

Humanity none so blind as those who will not see

Tell me

Be free as your mind flees for those who wish to believe
