fluttering eyes of the deepest, darkest blue i lost myself time froze, you spoke you uttered your name its undercurrent refreshing remnants of hope dancing at your lips your radiance filled me and exposed the darkest corner of my grey mind your words brought relief a steam of living water that occupied the crevices of my parched land with grace, you entered your soul embodied in purity step by step i ventured into the waters of uncertainty ankle, calf, thigh, now torso i willingly surrendered my balance to the waves you drew me in, deeper and deeper into the fluttering eyes of the deepest, purest blue
