As You're Laughing At Nothing

I opened my heart

But still you gave me nothing

And I've been this way

I've led the way thru the fog

Now only to have lost you

Because you couldn't be kept

You shake your head

At the sight of me

And fall down just laughing

At nothing in particuallar

You could be my "nothing"

And carry on with me

Or I could let you go

And get lost in the sun

Whatever you choose from here

I know you wouldn't be my "dear"

Not in that empty heart you have

Now be a doll and leave me here

So you can watch me die

Thee honesty you don't posess

Can kill me in just one night

And all the birds and bees

Will just leave each other

And nobody will be getting lucky

I tie myself to the tracks

So you can flatten me as I am

I rest my weary head

In the darkness of you and me

Breaking like the pieces of a puzzle

That never shown the truth to you nor me
