Amazing What I Put Up With

Each corn flake

Covered in sugar

Each time I wander around here

I live in

A wabbit hole

Cluttered in mess

Not trying to clean it

I suffer

My messiness

Too lazy to

Do anything about it

I'm hardwired

To my own noggin

To all my own thoughts

Thinking I hear some one

But how can I?

The voices say stuff as if they're reading my mind

But that's O.K.

Who else talks to me anyway?

A stuffed animal chicken

Her daughter

And God

Even my best friend calls me and stays silent

Only her Tv.

Or radio, to hear

On the line

It's a miracle this madness

Has not caused me to go blind

I must be very strong

Or very complacent

Whatever it is

I'm a survivor

Of life's bullshit
