Phoenix Rising

Phoenix Rising as winter consorts with June

Stars elevate as they twinkle beyond the moon

Mental rest now regress

Freezing rains of the universe, comfort me as I emotionally progress

In life, we must learn to take a bow

Yesterday, Today, Now

Keep paddling, consumed by the ragging current of the sea

Mirror alert, God, is this really me

Undoctrine creed of me, glutton for narratives of continuity of its greed

Gifted words from the soul, known to plant sacred seeds

Spiritual giving elements of good deeds

Who would ever come to believe

Perception of my soul is slipping, as you come to perceive

Words under pen, stinging from eyes to conceive

Turn my face in shame from my fractured reflection

Pride has grounded my inner perfection

Thy rod and thy staff comfort me of its truthful rejection

Rise Kemy, lift your sword no hesitation

No excuses or reservations

Beauty giving credence to the Beast

Dark dishes spread of its wicked feast

Sinking teeth in captured meat as I vehemently eat

Bitter taste of mouth

Words, sinking as they are heading south

Burn me once, ashes reborn to comply

Phoenix Rising earth to sky
