Summer breeze; warm fresh air,

Can you cleanse my despair?

I am hurting; can’t you see?

I’m being consumed silently.

My chest aches on my hands,

Because nobody understands.

I am vulnerable; full of pain,

I am bitter and very vain.

My ill temper and my rage,

It’s not because of my age.

All my tears have turned to dust,

To rid of this is a must.

I’ve let go and I’m alone now,

To amend this I don’t know how.

Summer breeze that I exhale,

Will you hush my soul’s wail?
