What is the purpose of the sky?

Am I standing on my head?

Has the world turned upside down?

The clouds are like raked sand spread across the sky

Small puffs of white look like stones

What is the purpose of the sky?

We’ve always seen it as a ceiling

It hovers over us

What if it’s actually a floor enwrapped beneath us?

We have penetrated the floor that keeps us from falling away

Space is the endless landfill of dirt and rocks we are buried in at the end

The sun is the core we can never dig to

The gaseous planets are our natural resources we always want more of and one day will exhaust

So now, I wonder . . .

Am I standing on my head?

Or has the world turned upside down?

Or has it turned inside out and what was once hidden is now exposed and what was exposed is now hidden?

What came first, space or infinity?

What eludes us more, space or infinity?
