Just saw a headline on CNN, 'Unemployment rate hits forty year low, 3.8 %', and it made me think, and I've probably said this before, for sure in a reply, if not a post, if all you are judging Trump for is monetary, then your happy, provided you can somehow overlook all the immoral policies he's either implemented, or endorses. If you can, it seems to me your attitude is precisely what's gone terribly wrong with our nation.

If you can overlook the rolling back of environmental protections, if you can overlook all the racial tensions he's caused, if you can overlook the soaring debt, if you're not bothered by his attempts to tear down one of the pillars holding up our democracy, a free press, if you can overlook that he has no morals, if you can overlook the fact that he's blindly giving our enemies, Russia for one, everything on their wish lists, if you are able to overlook all the global tensions he's created, if you can overlook that America has withdrawn from the world stage, if you're not bothered that he's emboldened Russia, China, and Iran, and ceded world leadership to them, and the never ending list goes on and on, then you must think he's a great leader. But if, like me, you're appalled, sickened, and incredulous that a man so devoid of everything that makes for a good person, let alone our President, can rise to the pinnacle, you view the future, not as a glory, but as a bottomless void of nowhere. With Pence waiting for the king to be deposed, nothing will change except the competence to actually remake our country in a 1652 image.
