ME, MYSELF, AND I

Me, the part who emotionally bleeds

The Id, Ego, my Superego leads

Peace within its indemnity

No false calamity

A taste of my honey sways among a sword of honor

Silent heartbeats dimmer of its fonder

Treasure box filled with hidden surprises for the eyes

Astral ascending in the storm of earthly demise

The heart cannot protect what the mind disguise

Coming of rapture such pleasure to feel

Silk and Satin absence of its fill

A glass of wine to my Myself

Blind emotions I must now place back on an alphabetical shelf

Was up to the letter L

Sadly, no potions to break this spell

Caught me by the fins and completely reeled me in

Naughty and assertive, whips and chains, must pull out again

Alone for a lonely blissful ride

Why do love and emotions always collide

I, the last leg of my being who must go on

Hearing the lyrics of an unheard song

Unresponsive, feelings of my trinity are renouncing

Reality and Dreams hungrily pouncing

Take a little piece of my heart

Heart now need a jumpstart

Take a little piece of my soul

No words to mentally console

Take a little piece of my mind

In time the non-fiction of my words will resign

Me, myself, and I

Now running from a goodbye
