I'M JUST A POET

Her hand in mine as we walk the garden of flowers.

Held steadfast in intimacy, and closed in passion.

It's like walking on water and never trembling to fear, Cos' the world stood still in her eyes, and my heart clung tightly.

She's like a rose in flora pond, Clothed in glamour and seated on glory.

Her face is easy, her smiles light, and her eyes are wild.

She dazzled me, For there's nothing as bright and delicate as her presence.

She held me in the present like in century's past.

My dream smells of her hair and not of yesterday, For I have no memories of the past nor a flair for the future, except that I want to be here with her. Always.

It was in her eyes; the flair that brought me to the mercy of her beauty.

I'm absorbed in the affection of her soul, and blown in the sweetness born on her lips.

Now, I'm intoxicated, drunk in the passion of her.

I see it in her smiles, Her heart be kind to me as mine to hers.

Her perfume smells of me, It smells of vulnerability, it smells of feminine passion.

In her eyes, a bridge between want and desire. She wants me as much as her heart desires.

Oh! Her tongues caresses my name.

I touch her like a cousin and make her think of a lover.

I've given her more than I have, now I'm indebted to love.

She does not know I'm a man of many feelings, She does not know my heart smells of autumn and my soul beseech summer.

I do not know if it's the beauty of nature in her, or the beauty of love that makes my heart scurry.

I wouldn't know what I feel, Because, I'm just a poet.????
