I slowly let my foot ease its weight off the gas pedal and let out a deep breath, followed by a frustrated groan.I looked ahead at the long line of cars ahead of me moving so slow it was hardly visible.Dreading the long wait ahead of me.I rocked my head back in a relaxed position, might as well get comfy. I tilted my head to look out the window,I never noticed how ugly and polluted the clouds are in the city. They're not the same pure white fluffy cotton balls i knew growing up in the countryside. But ever since i got that job and moved to the city i grew blind to how my life has changed.I sat there and began noticing the city noises, there was a homeless iraq veteran asking for money to pay for his meal,it was a shame he risked his life to come back and be homeless.there was a woman trying to sell a box of cats I could see the heartbreak in her eyes, she wanted to keep them so badly it was killing her,but she just couldn't afford it.There was a man breaking up with his girlfriend who had tears rolling down her face .There was a man dressed up as a big mac burger trying to promote his restaurant,I could tell he was not happy with his job, i mean who would be.So many people were out here struggling yet i was mad about a traffic jam.Although there were many people making happy memories too there was a man on one knee proposing to the woman he loved by the fountain in the most beautiful park in town, and the ring glittered in the sun and the girl looked so overjoyed.I smirked, maybe traffic jams aren't that bad. After all when else would i have time to think.
