Deserted love

fragile heart,

shattered in two

and shred apart.

Now here I am

on this painful day ,

with mop in hand

as I scrub away .

Just plastic

for a child's fun ,

a worn out toy

of boredom dust.

Another piece of flesh

for a whoring prey ,

raped with phobia

that always stays .

Now I pour my bleach

on this puddle of pain ,

and cleanse the hauntings

before they stain.

To disinfect

her betraying wounds,

to sanitize the corners

in her every move.

It may take time

to readdress,

the sore thumbed cause

of this tragic mess .

To mend her trust

and stitch her faith ,

but along with love

we will go our way.

We will go our way

away from this

and replenish the love

that we have addressed.
