Do I resemble the words you say?

Am I a pigeon made of clay ?

You shoot your shells as I fly away

from your impatient tribute

of judgement day.

I am a weak , and ugly man

ignored by women's attention spans .

I graduated with high honors

but I was treated like a freak ,

my ambitions slaughtered.

I stand before this unruly judge gripping my heart as I wait for the verdict.

I can hear my name at the academy

being called to receive my badge.

Am I made up of the words you say ?

Am I a pigeon made of clay?

You shoot me down as I fly away ,

and my spirits sleep for another day.
