Age defines

one after another,

I wasn't ready

to leave my mother.

I still stand

on wobbling legs ,

Unsure of what

I should do next.

I may be older

but not at heart ,

nor at mind

where age restarts.

Playing the years

in reverse

rewinding each moment,,

to rehearse.

To live for a moment

but desire forever

but I can't go back

For age is a ladder.

I still stand

on wobbling legs

A yearling unsure

of where to go next.

I have never felt love

from the opposite gender,

I've remained a bachelor

For as long I remember.

I feel like a hobo

Jumping on a train,

nowhere specific in mind

as to where I'll stay.
