A wooden chair at a coffee shop. Across the table and over our leather history book she sits. Flicker of a smile from a thought, touches her pink lips as her pen lays letters on a page and delicate disarray that only we can comprehend. Golden hair tucked behind her ear, she looks up into my eyes and instantly my life-oxygen is gone. I'm pulled into outer space, pulled into the endless sparkling cosmo of her deep shining eyes. Perfect silence and serenity. Galaxies and constellations in radiant chaos mesmerize my simple mind. Spinning cosmics of her space-time pull me one way, then another. Transported through time and celestrial heights she takes a breath and I'm back in my wooden chair. My ringing ears hear cafe chatter resume. Then she's gone, swimming again in the pages of her book.
