A poem-like motivational story about overcoming the obstacles and moving forward. (I wouldn't call it exactly a poem, but I think that's the closest category to it.)

The little creature,

one day during its lifelong journey,

it saw,

somewhere along the way,

a hill,

not too big for some,

and for its self too great to climb,

one might say,

but the one to say

is not the little creature,

for it does hope

and it does fear,

but it does not doubt.

And so it went,

and crawled

and clung on the wet grass

staring upon the hill,

because the storm passed

and the rain

didn't hurt,

and the colors

of the colored arc in the sky

were not gray,

and as its eyes on the hill,

the hill's eyes on it.

And moved

and crawled

and pulled

and pushed,

and the wind showed resistance,

not to throw the creature down,

but to keep the creature up,

to keep it standing

and going forward.

And moved

and crawled

and pulled

and pushed,

and the raindrops on the wet dirt,

they made the little fellow slip,

not to sweep the creature away,

but to keep the creature clinging,

to keep it standing

and going forward.

And the journey up the hill

continued for the small one,

and time passed,

and it passed,

until one fateful day

it reached the top

and it stood victorious

against its self,

and it stood glorious

with pride in its palms

and satisfaction.

And the gaze of it

spread across the fields

and the lands

and the rivers

and the trees

and the flower beds

and what met its eye was endless.

And majestic beauty of many little things

did not allow for its eyes to ever close.

And in those moments,

it knew,

the journey

was not for nothing,

it knew,

since what it saw

and what it felt

was everything.

To the little creature

it was everything.
