What can I do; what can I say?

To live without you; is there a way?

Under the sun my tears are glitter,

I’m jealous, scorned and also bitter.

Because you’re fine; from what I see,

Why don’t you cry and hurt like me?

Why do you smile as if amiss?

Do you not crave my tender kiss?

And my fingers through your hair,

Did you forget how much I care?

Your little flings will not resemble,

I made you shiver; I made you tremble.

And as I cry and as I weep,

Nothing disturbs your peaceful sleep.

Perhaps, one day I too shall know,

The secret of letting you go.

But then again; as I’m descending,

You might, perhaps, just be pretending.
