Lamenting the nights

where I drag along ,

meeting at the light

where the moths are drawn.

Cling and encircle

above the gnome ,

with a permanent smile

made of stone.

All a natural

lure of possession ,

an answer of silence

in the form of a question.

Being what you are

being who you are ,

cannon speed to the distance

of sleeping too far.

Control medication

overload ,

symptoms of obsession

with overdose .

Glowing heart

entrancing light ,

addicted passion

with love in spite.

Past the shadows of trees

through the hedge ,

an angel sleeps

behind the window ledge.

When the fall of rain

that nature brings,

would she let me in

to dry my wings ?

Kept out through time

but the lure occurs ,

will she ever believe

that I am drawn to her ?

Just an unlikely mission

that will excell,

to the encircling of love

for I am impaled..

by her. .
