IN TOUCH

The wind screamed at my skin

leaving in me the secrets she had carried deep within,

so I listened to her enternal joy and sorrow

telling me about the everchanging eyes and blood she dried.

To accompany her, came the rain shortly after.

And the rain hit my ears

leaving me numb with his fears,

so I listened to his laugh and thunder

singing about the lips and skins he touched.

To warm myself, I lit a fire in a cave.

And the fire soothed my cold

leaving in me the souls she burnt,

So I cried for the voices I heard in her cracks

lingering around no more.

Earth said nothing but a motion

making everthing move and stop.
