A small wooden house stood by the river,

A small boy and a woman in teens,

Lifting their arms and wave,

For they say their farewell,

Farewell for a man they hold consider a parent and a lover,

Farewell for a man who just left,

Whom they doubt and weep for his return, For a place he goes is No man's land,

A place where fire and smoke resides,

A place where a man be torn to shreds.

Three years passed by,

And the small boy still awaits outside of the house with his mother,

For they plead to God for his return,

No news,

No messages,

Only silence.
