There's a guy I thought I knew well,

perfect example of the zombie hell

we're dealing with, refuses to see

the cold hard facts, or listen to reality.

Accuses critics of listening only to CNN,

doesn't stop to think it's paranoia he defends.

Absolutely convinced that all the other's lie,

to expand his news horizons, he won't even try.

Backstroke's in the Kool-Aid, he's willingly deceived.

In water over his head, doesn't see the truth or believe.

Hook line, and sinker, he's swallows their line,

follows the Fox who view us as a withering on the vine.

Sour grapes they produce, yet lives in their cocoon,

they, and our President, live in a cartoon.

With verbal anger, he tears us limb from limb,

enjoys the chaos, and America's the victim.

But this guy sees none of it, sees a vast left conspiracy,

everybody else is lying, won't listen to a plea,

a plea for reason, to use his common sense,

his kind of cult is particularly intense.

A normally-smart guy under the spell of the Fox,

A pied piper victim of delusion from the idiot box.
