Status: Finished  |  Genre: Romance  |  House: Booksie Classic

Today I opened Facebook and I was bored so, I started checking messages. And saw a message by a guy saying, "You're so pretty." He was pretty cute so I flattered. But I felt no good. I went through my own photos that I uploaded and yes they were pretty but I'm not that pretty. I just have a strong selfie game or maybe I've a good photogenic face. And since that moment I have been feeling extremely insecure about my appearance if I ever had to meet any of them in person.

I have heard girls from my school talking about me saying, "she can't be pretty just by faking a smile."

I never gave the word 'pretty' so much of importance before. Maybe because my parents and the people I grew up with never made me aware of this harsh reality.

I can accept I'm not good looking but I can never accept being dumb and giving priority to just being pretty.

Could we all just move ahead please?
