Before My Ink Dries Out

Dyin' flowers on my garden, How much a glass o' water? Ease me off my every burden, I'm just another rapper Hidin' in a poet's garment, Thoughts are words in ink on paper- _ Before my ink dries out, Allow me to write you a poem And remind you of who you used to be to me; The pride of my people, Wait, Who are my people?

Before my ink dries out, Allow me to make sense at least once in my trying life, Wisdom is not what you read, For knowledge requires one to think, Wisdom is what makes you real;

Before my ink dries out, Allow me to wave you goodbye, Wish you Good luck, I heard you were leaving, Why all the people we pray for to stay, Are always the first ones to go? Uhm,

Before my ink dries out, I have nothing to say but revisit the moments I'm dying to forget, The same moments I've lived to always remember; Loneliness is the difference between emptiness and avalanche;

Before my ink dries out, And rust is all that remains, Allow me to tell you I've been here since forever, Material is not the proof of love, But compassion is; Glitters don't promise eternal happiness, But contentment does;

Dyin' flowers in my garden, How much a glass o' water? Ease me off my every burden, I'm just another rapper Hidin' in a poet's garment, Thoughts are words in ink on paper;
