Cool Jazz

The astronomer

Turns on the radio

And hears music to midnight,

Cool jazz is the wavelength,

His soft body lays

On the bed.

He's too stoned

To masturbate,

On the other stations

Are religious programmes,

Fishermen lost on sunspots.

The sun flares and claims

Another survivor.

During an eclipse

He magically floats around

The icy room,

Warmth rises inside him

As a dragon spits suns.
