Her toast-rack bodice,

Was laced in silver moonlight,

Her name etched in stone,

Called me,through the dead of night.

So soft she seemed,

In the gorgeous twilight,

That I laid down beside her,

And gave into the night.

When I awoke,

She had turned to nothing it seemed,

Not a sign,

Could it be something I dreamed?

But when I opened my hand,

A long lock of heavenly hair did stream.
