[No Xanax for Cicadas]

In the Garden of Eden , one day ,

a single Apple fell off the Tree of

the Knowledge of Good and Evil ;

on the grass , a few bugs took to

it , hungry for a late lunch ; the

worm who took the first

bite , fled underground ; the

spider who tried a bit , let out a

scream so loud , that it lost its

voice ; the cicada who gave it a

nibble , just to try it out , got so

overwhelmed with anxiety ,

that it fiddled its wings together

in a release of stress : for it had

no means to acquire Xanax .
