A A A

The rain falls. My tears are hidden.

He stands still. Emotion forbidden.

I flinch at the sound. He steps forward.

I'm shivering now. Always a coward.

A gasp escapes me. A smile from him.

"Don't try to run. You want to give in."

I stand silent now. Still as death.

He touches me now. His breath on my chest.

His kiss is deep. Shallow is his mind.

He bled for me, then. Shock in his eyes.

With this knife,

I bury in you

The promise I made

When you shattered me through

I told you I'd kill you

I swore it day after day

And now you plead with me

But it's my turn to play

You created a monster

As you are, my friend

But with my promise kept

You'll never touch me again.
