Isolated from anything that leaves a trace of light in your life; nonexistent in your own world. No room to breathe; Oxygen replaced with cigarettes. I swear I don’t even smoke. Your entire life and everything you and are and own becomes shrouded in the stench of someone else’s bad decisions. Here I am now though, taking up your habits. Maybe I miss all the space you took up Because I feel so small without you. I crave your awful odor of cancer and asthma on my clothes. Maybe I took up your habit because I miss the way you killed me slowly, And this feels close enough. Maybe I miss the way you made me reek of you or thee way you marked me as your own for everyone to whiff. Maybe.
