Note: this poem can be disturbing and is solely meant for the sake of writing. This was written during a very rough time in my life and, by God’s good grace, I have stopped self-harm. God has saved me from this.

As the razor seeps into my wrist and I clench my fist/I wish my life would just be dismissed./You say salvation is near/but whereabouts is it’s saving grace?/

Betwixt total oblivion and bewilderment

/At the sight of blood bleeding down my bony body.

/And the day may come.../The day may come when they realize with their eyes/That behind mine and thine there is a mind that gets hurt too.
