A A A

With each clumsy step up the hill of uncertainty, stones beneath my feet tumble down the precipice into the void below. I have thrown out all my old ideals that prevented me from surpassing humanity. To instincts that others have called ‘vile’ I have given different names, ascribed them to more worthwhile philosophies that reside outside the realm of human experience. I have broken the restrictions put upon me by social norms. Instead, I have taken what society may deem unacceptable and used it as a source of nourishment in my journey. I have climbed the invisible wall that stops humanity from achieving the highest plateaus of the mind.
And I will continue to carry my wrong deeds upon my shoulders. When I get to the top, I will use them to build a hideous castle. I will be the king of this lonely domain, a king truly enlightened, a man who has shaken the very foundations of human nature, a man who has proved to others that he is the exception to their arbitrary rules.
A man who has reached the apex of freedom.
And from this vantage point, I will stare at my own naked body in the void, mingling with the same vile creatures who never had the courage to climb the wall and achieve the same degree of enlightenment.
I will then have to learn how to live in two places at once.
