A A A

As I look up to the dark sky above me and watch as rain lightly falls across dimly-lit lights, the weight of existence falls heavily upon me. The feeling of abandonment presses against me when I look and see there is no one beside me.

Suddenly, I notice a bright light hiding behind a fence. Transfixed, I begin to walk towards it. Then, as I get closer, I begin to run. As I prepare to jump the fence, the light gets brighter and brighter. The light becomes almost unbearable when my eyes go over the fence. Seeing nothing but white, I run in a blind fury until I feel an immense pain run through my body. The blinding white light turns into an endless darkness. I was like a moth to a flame. I became too transfixed on the bright light to see that I was only fluttering closer and closer to death.
