Imagine yourself being trapped in a tight box. Everything is dark and you are suffocating in that dark space. This poem is about a girl who isolated herself from the crowd. Once she got out of the
darkness, she realizes the truth about herself.

Locked Away.

hidden in the far

dark corner

i let out a scream

wanting to wash away

all my anguish

but

it was just a silent scream

i looked around

only to see hazed-paths

&

huge steel walls

surrounding me

my thoughts

were lost in a maze

everything became dark

tears stained the

stone cold floor

washing away all the

happiness i had

restless

to feel or not to feel...

blankly

i looked up

hatred and anger flashed through my eyes

but my brain froze as

i unknowingly took her

warm hands

little did i know

i was the one

who locked myself away.
