In a land of spoken dreams,

Silently the faithful scream,

A plague on the land,

A knock by a dead hand,

The church feels the yearn,

As souls are left to burn,

A divine power in the air,

Passing judgement fair,

The revered show their face,

In their burial shrouds of lace,

Dusty bones with perpetual grin,

A face long since rotted within,

Returned without light,

More related to a withering blight,

The faithful pray for blood,

As more erupt from tomb's mud,

Those saints that now decay,

Skin of a martyr long ago flayed,

Who is to blame?

The faithful play wicked games,

Putting the heretics to the sword,

All in the name of the Lord,

Yet their saints still remain,

What do they hope to gain?,

Questions among the priests,

As the dead look to feast,

On souls meant for Heaven,

Only to be abandoned by seven,

Seraphs weep at fallen saints,

Risen again by some dark taint,

The villages have their patrons,

Tigers in mother's aprons,

Silk lies to twist and bend,

Former holy one now rends,

Ripping infants from mothers,

 Forcing brother against brother,

These are God's former chosen,

Though demons have arosen,

Satan must have his laugh,

As mortals feel his wrath,

Unkown power of dark,

Leaving hopes Stark,

The saints wander so far,

To the fife of Morningstar,

Such are these times,

When saints do evil crimes
