Yesterday, how much I cried,

And on my mind was suicide.

And as my eyes with water fills,

My only thought was to take pills.

I took a knife to cut my vein,

I was alone and in pain.

And though I did hesitate,

I know it could’ve been too late,

It’s not a joke; this isn’t fiction,

Depression’s part of my conviction.

How fucked up these thoughts of mine,

I almost failed and crossed the line.

With fatal doses or with a knife,

I thought about taking my life.
