Don’t touch my scars, literally... It’s the remembrance of things that cannot be erased and the only Medals of Honor, if that’s the only honor I could ever achieved...

And here I am,

Twisted beyond repair....

With no introduction,

You can see my scars,

They won't fade away,

Permanent mark of shame and disgrace-

No words to say,

it’s written all over my face.

Beautiful! I’m not,

Broken! I know,

Stop telling me that I am pretty! Lies.

Don’t hold my hand,

Don’t touch my scars...

Don’t be gentle,

Don’t be caring...

Don’t be... my love-

If we ever meet in another lifetime,

Don’t talk to me!

I wept.
