Out here all alone

Can't breathe

Treading water

Caught up in the current.

My hearts beating fast

Waiting for you to find me

Sent a message in a bottle

Not afraid of the storm that's coming.

Hoping a tidal wave will come

Sweep me away closer to you

Wondering when will you show up?

I'm out here sinking slowly

Clinging to hope I'll

Be carried away to shore

Before the chance has come and gone.

And it becomes a little too late.
