You walk through this world
Looking for gold
Never growing old
And you want it all sold

You walk a million hills
And you are yet to be fulfilled
By beauty and desire
And you are young
So you haven't heard the song sung
Or the blooming flowers
Or the spring time showers
Or the burning tires
Your life is unfulfilled by beauty and desire

Just like I have been
Like all the times when
We would send
Notes back and forth
And sail our ships ashore
To and from the nevermore.
We would be there to conspire
Because our lives were unfulfilled by beauty and desire

Do you think we can recover
And be what we once were?
Do you think we can uncover
That which is disturbed
And find our souls unharmed
And with unchanging charm
Could we still learn to fly
And go a high
That we would never tire
And our lives would be fulfilled
By beauty and desire?
