Looking closely at the works of others
Reminds me of how numb Im feeling
The tales of sisters, fathers, mothers
Tales of romance and ones of healing

Personally, they are too misleading
Because trust me I have tried and tried
To fill this hole and stop the bleeding
So much pressure I’ve applied

I can’t trust in love
It’s fleeting
Sometimes there and sometimes gone

I can’t tell who’s staying
Who’s leaving
Can’t tell if I should go or not

So when you write keep me in mind
And others who can’t relate
To falling for “The One” or trusting
Blindly in karma and fate
