I wrote and read this at my Grandfathers my Opas funeral. This past 2018 in February.

He immigrated to Canada from Holland

mans gave us the life so we could prosper here.

To Bill Ketting

Sailor of My own Seas

We remember the days of plenty, the adventures of youth in our twenties. Young love with a sense destiny.

Sacrifices and a dream to be the sailor of my own Seas. So I buy a boat and wait and see when the seas are ready to meet.

I stand in grace I stand in awe, of the universe and wonders of Yah. Dedication to giving, the understanding of living.

Every wave comes and goes some rough some with ease. That’s the trouble of being the sailor of my own Seas. Lift our spirits, guide our hearts through the chaos through the dark.

Show your light, show your love asking for forgiveness from the heavens above. No control of the ocean or the sea, only have what I believe. I believe I can be, the sailor of my own Seas.

So now can trust in my own destiny.

Thanks ???? written by Devin Ketting
