What is to become of us

When it's time to take a bow

When our evenings turn to dusk

And there are wrinkles on our brows?

Oh, will we reminisce

Of all the things we've done

Of all the mountains climbed

And all the songs we've sung?

Or will we be aghast

At all our time mispent

In the office and the traffic

When we worried about the rent?

Darling, just remember

If there's one thing I do know

It's that I'd rather have old scars

Than regrets of walking slow.
