The Price of Poker

If the cost of you means the loss of my speech, I choose my own words every time.

If the cost of you means standing in the shadows, I choose the light.

If the cost of you requires me to change my opinions, I choose sincerity.

If the cost of that name means tolerance of your materialism, I choose minimalism.

If the cost of that lifestyle means the loss of my independence, I choose to be alone.

If the cost of your happiness requires my tears, I choose my smile.

If the price of poker is this high I fold.

You can play the hand you are dealt.
