Lovelorn is a word that can strike many hearts and here I do my best to portray that

To describe it simply would be like trying to recite a symphony without conductor

Love worn and heart broken,

My heart broke to pieces without the puppet master guiding the strings that move so fluidly.

Despondent when it came to you,

Lost without us two

Life is life and a game of whose who

But without you, whose to compare too?

Sometimes i have more sorrow than anger

But the thought of you lingers

It’s like I can almost taste it on my fingers

The times I held you while you cried

But now the pasts the past and i’ve lost my pride

To love is to unlove

And to unlove is to let go

But how can I unlove the thought of us two.
