1905 That Fateful Christmas

It was christmas 1905 in a small farming community of Delisle Saskatchewan, a blizzard is blowing down. A country family who is known as the Nelson family, has neighbours over for dinner, the
children are playing in the living room while the adults are talking. "You think so Rodney?" asked Robert, "Yep, I'd think we out to make sure there is going to be enough firewood to last us the
night." said Rodney. Rodney turned to Robert and said "Let's go.'' They both put on their winter coats and took the axe and went to find firewood. Twenty years have passed since that fateful
christmas, Robert was lost in the blizzard and was seperated from Rodney. Nobody had found a trace of Robert until now. The next morning Rodney showed up with fire wood, but Robert was no where to
be seen. "What happened to Grandpa?" said Aubree, Rodney set the firewood down by the fireplace and said to Aubree, "Well darlin, let me tell you what happend, that fateful christmas." It was
christmas 1905, Saskatchewan had just recently became a province, and your Grandpa and I went out to get some firewood to keep the house warm. Everything was fine until the wolfs came, we tried
running bud grandpa Robert was injured, he had fallen, he had broken his angle from running and tripping on a tree root. I didn't notice until I lost track of him, I left him behind, then on
Christmas Morning, I went back out to where I lost him, I found your grandpa. He was sitting upright against a pine tree with a letter in his hand. It was addressed to you, and of course you were
just recently born. "Dearest Aubree, Your too young to notice that I will not be there for your 1st birthday, and I have one thing to say, I will always be with you forever and always.

Love, Grandpa Robert To Trevor, "Forever and Always'' I realize I won't be there to see you grow up but wherever I am even though I may be gone, but I am still around doesn't matter where I am or
where ever you go, I'm always with you. And I love you Love, Grandma Hanson
