Inseparable as a body and it’s shadow they were,

As a heart that lives not - without blood, to pump.

The rhythms they created were held so dear,

In sorrow and joy, together they all were in a clump.

But darkness fell and shadow submerged,

Distant as the sun and moon they became;

meeting through an eclipse that rarely emerged.

The rhythms no longer had a sound to reclaim.

Silence hurt silence,

With a cold heart and crystallised blood

Their only reliance -

Upon unity, to once again be loved!
