With heart left open, wings spread out,

the beauty that has fallen.

You gave your all and, in return,

you hear the angels calling.

Who'd of guessed, a feeling pure

would be the downfall of your whole?

A wish to end the suffering,

to damn your body, mind and soul.

Started out an act of grace,

to love so fully from the heart,

but love can't conquer if that love

is not returned in full, if part.

To leave your feelings held in cages,

no need to shut the wounds that caused it.

That love organ that's catching dust

has not been used since reject killed it.

Eyes look up, "Forgive me Lord,

I'll never get to meet my maker,"

since artificial death is sin.

One last act before darkness took her.

Growing colder, love has fallen.

Love is lost, cannot be found.

Her act of kindness, not returned

has turned her afterlife around.
