i feel encased in a sticky, gross paper mache shell

no i don’t- that’d be fake

i feel genuine like a mailbox for my baseball bat like your pipes post-flush like something with more than four legs like a 7th place ribbon out of six contestants like a cigarette butt like Elon Musk in his 20s like the week after snow when it’s all melty and tracked through and long past fun like the guy who gets told not to worry about that guy she tells you not to worry about genuine ly gross

they say distance makes the heart grow fonder, so it's no wonder that the ground looks best from 4 or more stories up

my mom always told me not to spit- yeah its gross, but nothings more satisfying than a well aimed splat

i feel like me genuinely
