Sacred

I’ll make my way quietly, secretly through the forest. No one knows of this place but me and I will take great pains to keep it this way.

As I go, I bend down to pluck a flower from the ground, a bloom from a bush, all the while making up my floral offering. It is the night of the full moon, and each such night I make my way to this special stone.

Even on a cloudy night, a moonbeam always seems to make it’s way through to illuminate the stone’s surface. Secret, sacred, I make my silent offering.
