There was a certain calm in the chaos;

As the waves threw themselves into the rocks,

I was reminded of a single soul

Begging, pleading,

To be seen,

Crying out hopelessly and helplessly,

The loud noise of the froth,

Begging, pleading,

Everyone hear me! 

I'm here, I'm existing!

Covering the desperate cries,

Of pure and innocent existence,

That single soul,

Finally heard, seen, 

Cleansed by the waves,

Cleansed by the absolution they brought,

With them, with every passing push towards,

The shore
