A A A

I woke up this morning; had a coffee in hand,

I looked at the image that I barely can stand.

The reflection of me staring so sad,

When did this happen; have I gone mad?

The days are obscure you’ve heard this before,

I don’t want to talk; I don’t write anymore.

My thoughts are a blur; my mind is too hazy,

What’s going on? Am I going crazy?

There’s no comforting words; no soothing advice,

‘Thank you’, I say; I try to be nice.

A break in this cycle; and much needed bliss,

No matter where I go; I’ll wind up like this.
